Meet the past winners of premier players award who have done exceptionally well in their respective sport.

Premier Players, being an active ambassador and contributor to the community of sports, organizes a bunch of awards every year, the primary one of them being the Premier Player Award. Each year, we nominate players that have performed exceptionally well on the field and then select a winner based on jury decision and public votes. Let’s meet some of these Premier players Past winners and get some inspiration from their journey. 

Joe Burrow (2019)

The 2019 Premier Player of College Football Trophy winner was Joe Burrow, the skipper of LSU tigers who led his team to an SEC title win, along with a place in the college playoffs. Throughout the season, he dismantled the opposition defenses and enabled his team to debut in the CFP. 

The primary reason why Burrow won the award is his numbers, which look no less than of a video game player. He tossed 48 touchdown passes with a completion rate of an astonishing 77.9 percent. But, the best aspect of Burrow is his character, a passionate footballer and a born leader.

Kyler Murray (2018)

Kyler Murray, playing for Oklahoma Sooners won the 2018 Premier Player of College award for an exceptional 2018 season. He had a bad series of defenses in Tuscaloosa, but from struggling there to winning the award, the journey has been exceptional. Murray is the player that drives the offense when the Sooners seem out of the game. He performed sensationally in 2018, averaging a passing of 300 yards and rushing of 60 yards. By the end of the regular season, Murray finished with 4,053 yards and 40 in-air touchdowns, along with 11 touchdowns on the ground. 

Jake Fromm (2017)

Representing Georgia Bulldogs, Jake Fromm won the 2017 Premier Player of College award for helping Georgia secure a place in the  2017 College Football Playoffs. The 2017 SEC Freshman of the Year led his team to a 12-1 record at the SEC Championship by throwing for 2,173 yards and completing 21 touchdowns. In the SEC championship against Auburn, Georgia was having an excellent running game but the moments came when Fromm soaked the pressure and worked the ball over the field. The Georgia Bulldogs lost to Auburn by 40-17, and this victory was unexpected and special, with Fromm playing a crucial role.
